Another exciting update for Brizy WordPress. We've added Brizy Starter Templates in the Brizy plugin for WordPress.

This is a long time coming, and will help you start a Brizy WordPress website even faster. What this functionality does is it installs a Brizy template in one go, including: pages, images, headers, footers, global blocks, global styling and fonts. Everything.

It's kind of special to be able to install everything in one go, I'm personally very excited about it.

We didn't invent the wheel here, although I remember we were one of the first in the industry that introduced one-click demo content install back in our ThemeForest days with ThemeFuse.

In this article, we’ll cover:

Brizy Starter Templates

Pretty straightforward, I think you are used to it from other themes like Blocksy or Neve. In fact, they had Brizy starter templates before we did.

You can access the starter templates list from your WordPress admin under Brizy > Starter Templates.

How to Intall a Brizy Starter Template

The Brizy Starter Templates functionality is available both in Brizy Free and Brizy PRO and you can install a template over your current Brizy content or make a fresh install from scratch.

Step 1. Go to Brizy > Starter Templates in your WordPress admin

Step 2. Use the Filter functionality up top to find a specific template. You can select the category or even search for a specific template by name.

View a live preview of a template by hovering over any thumbnail. The previews will be accessed on a white label domain (websitebuilder-demo.net), to cover our partners' white label needs.

Step 3. Click the Install button

Step 5. Choose if you want to keep existing content or install from scratch by deleting existing content.

Brizy Starter Templates Keep or Delete Content

Keep existing content

Choose this option if you want to keep your current content. If you are using Brizy, some of the global options might overlap. Menus, global styling, and global blocks might need some attention.

Delete existing content

Choose this option if you want to start fresh and delete your current content. A backup is advisable, there is no turning back from this. Your existing content will be deleted and you will not be able to get it back.

Step 6. Wait for the installation to happen, don't close the window or navigate away. It takes a couple of minutes, usually less.

Step 7. Done. Your Brizy website was imported together with menus, pages, media content, global styling, headers, footers, and blocks.

What's next

We are working on Brizy 2.4, which will bring a lot of improvements, fixes, and new features like the animation & effects functionality. I've covered what comes in Brizy 2.4 in this Beta post if you want to read more about it.

Until next time.
